The outcome
My design outcome includes an added feature of the current Starbucks Mobile App, as well as a Starbucks coffee booth design that works together to provide a convenient self-serve solution to Starbucks customers.
The app interaction is made in Figma and After Effects.
Desert Rush
This is a one-week game design & development experience. Our team is made of 2 programmers, 2 artists and 1 sound designer.
The device we were assigned to for this one-week game making was the HTC VIVE Virtual Reality System Tracker and Headset. Vive trackers can be easily tied to physical objects, so players can have a better immersive experience with the combination of virtual experience and real objects. So after brainstorming, our team decided to create an immersive desert racing game.
Our game concept is a very classic racing game where the player needs to drive as far as possible before running out of gas, while also avoiding obstacles in the desert, as crashing into them will reduce the life of the car.We strapped one tracker to the steering wheel and another tracker to the accelerator pedal extension, so that players can fully simulate driving and enjoy the fun and excitement of racing in the wilderness after putting on the headset and sitting in our specially made driver's seat.
In this group work, I was participated in game design, 3D scene design and modeling, material mapping and video editing.
